Thank you for being willing to partner with ¾¨Ó㴫ý with our sponsored dual credit courses.  You’re a vital part of the program and we look forward to supporting you throughout the year.

Interested in teaching dual credit?

Partnering to offer dual credit courses involves specific requirements for teachers and district administrations. Detailed expectations can be found in the Early College Handbook.

  • Guide students in filling out their application for ¾¨Ó㴫ý.
  • If applicable, send home and communicate directly with the Early College Initiative’s office upon receiving students’ financial responsibility forms.
  • Scan and email completed financial responsibility forms to eci@eou.edu.
  • Attend two PLC meetings with PLC leaders and one annual orientation with ECI.
  • Complete all planned EOU faculty training before the first day of the high school dual credit class.
  • Administration will be notified if the Higher Education Coordinating Commission (HECC) guidelines are not followed to ensure compliance with state regulations by the university and high schools.
  • Adhere to all deadlines to ensure students are successfully enrolled in coursework and receive credit for their classes.

Deadlines

Fall 2026 Dates

  • August 3, 2026 – High school student registration opens for Fall term
  • September 28, 2026 – Fall term classes begin
  • October 2, 2026 – Last day to add/drop EOU online/on-campus courses with no grade and 100% refund through Mountie Hub
  • October 23, 2026 (5:00 PM PT) – Last day to add/drop high school dual credit courses from high school instructors
  • December 11, 2026 – Last day to withdraw from one or all EOU courses
  • December 18, 2026 – Fall term ends
  • December 21, 2026 (12:00 PM PT) – Fall grades due

Winter 2027 Dates

  • November 6, 2026 – High school student registration opens for Winter term
  • January 4, 2027 – Winter term classes begin
  • January 8, 2027 – Last day to add/drop EOU online/on-campus courses with no grade and 100% refund through Mountie Hub
  • January 29, 2027 (5:00 PM PT) – Last day to add/drop high school dual credit courses from high school instructors
  • March 12, 2027 – Last day to withdraw from one or all EOU courses
  • March 19, 2027 – Winter term ends
  • March 22, 2027 (12:00 PM PT) – Winter grades due

Spring 2027 Dates

  • February 15, 2027 – High school student registration opens for Spring term
  • March 29, 2027 – Spring term classes begin
  • April 2, 2027 – Last day to add/drop EOU online/on-campus courses with no grade and 100% refund through Mountie Hub
  • April 23, 2027 (5:00 PM PT) – Last day to add/drop high school dual credit courses from high school instructors
  • June 4, 2027 – Last day to withdraw from one or all EOU courses
